The 'download new tracks' section is where most of my new recordings will appear; there are many pieces being 'polished' - prior to being placed on show ..
As well as these 'new tracks', there are also the CD tracks and the Nature's music sections - all with full listening and downloading facilities ..
These tracks mostly come from a new series of ‘sound pictures’ - pieces we have been working on for a while (see new projects)
Many of these pieces defy categorization as ‘music’ or ‘sound environment’; they feature unique places and musical ‘situations’ that I have discovered in my travels
‘Confest’ - 2606; 5:10 long (7.2MB) - Download Drums and frogs; a remarkable early morning live recording - which comes first? A 'conference festival' alternative living celebration
'Pobblebonk' ; 4:49 long (6.7MB) - Download 'Pobblebonk' - a wonderfully colloquial name for the Australian eastern banjo frog, which feature in this musical fun piece Piano and 'wavesequence' duet
Mangroves; 5:00 long (6.9MB) - Download Tropical mangroves, acqua sea breaks slowly onto rocks, bird sings; constant movement and life, changing shapes; a languid musical celebration
Note: As you download a track, a 'quicktime' (on a mac) or similar player will appear - you will hear the track as it downloads On completion you need to save the piece; go to 'file' and 'save page as' to your desktop, or where-ever else you store music files
We'd like feedback on this new 'download' section, both from the content and the download technology (which I realize is a bit shaky!) aspects There are many more sounds and pieces here - waiting loading; if you like particular categories more than others, please tell me ..
