The Paddlewheels cd (Paddlewheels and Kingfishers), 1999 is an older cd - that still sounds good
This is a music and nature sounds cd that is set in the old paddlesteamer port of Echuca and the Barmah forest, which is just a little upstream on the Murray River, south eastern Australia
The music is based on the sounds of nature, of people, paddle steamers and the town
We use environmental sound as musical 'instruments', and add the sounds of pianos, flutes, percussion, strings, bells - and many more - to compliment the 'found' sounds
You may hear a 30 second snippet of all the tracks - just by clicking the (play) button; click it again to stop the track Several of the tracks will be available as full track downloads - just click the 'track download' signs
